Guinea Launches AI Xcelerate to Bring 250 Companies Into AI Adoption
Guinea's business federation and international partners launched AI Xcelerate on April 8, 2026, aiming to help 250 companies adopt AI tools to boost productivity and competitiveness.

Guinea launched the "AI Xcelerate" programme on April 8, 2026, through a partnership involving the Confederation Generale des Entreprises de Guinee (CGE-GUI), the Organisation Internationale des Employeurs (OIE) and international technology partners.
The programme targets more than 250 Guinean companies, aiming to accelerate adoption of AI tools that remain largely underused in the country's private sector. Organisers said the initiative is designed to help businesses improve productivity, modernise management tools and adapt to shifts in the global economy.
The launch builds on Guinea's national AI roadmap validated in December 2025 and aligns with President Mamadi Doumbouya's Simandou 2040 development programme, which places digital transformation and innovation at the center of the country's long-term economic strategy. AI Xcelerate is one of several AI-adoption initiatives Guinea has rolled out in 2026, alongside the DouIA2 initiative signed earlier the same month.
