Senegal's President Bassirou Diomaye Faye officially launched the country's new digital strategy, dubbed the 'Technological New Deal', on February 24, 2025, as part of the national transformation agenda 'Senegal 2050' aimed at making the country a leader in the digital economy in Africa.
The strategy is structured around four pillars and sets its goals through to 2034.
