About Eduact

Eduact, founded in Egypt in 2020 by Adham Hamed and Ali Hisham, developed a software-as-a-service platform that helps educators manage video content, grading, payments and administrative work for independent teachers and small education centers.

About Abwaab

Abwaab was founded in Jordan in 2019 by Hamdi Tabbaa, Sabri Hakim and Hussein AlSarabi, and currently operates across six markets in the Middle East and North Africa, providing digital educational content and assessment tools to students.

The Deal

The acquisition expands Abwaab's business beyond student-focused digital learning into software infrastructure for independent teachers and learning centers, following its earlier 2026 acquisition of Apex Education.
