Kenya is deepening its collaboration with Amazon Web Services to expand digital skills development, cloud computing capacity and artificial intelligence capabilities, following talks between the company and Kenya's Cabinet Secretary for ICT and the Digital Economy.

The Talks

The renewed push follows a visit by Kenya's Cabinet Secretary for ICT and the Digital Economy, William Kabogo Gitau, to AWS's Nairobi offices. Both sides agreed to deepen collaboration on digital skills, e-government, artificial intelligence and connectivity.

Scope

Kenya is seeking to accelerate its digital transformation agenda with a focus on digital skills, cloud computing, artificial intelligence and connectivity through the partnership with AWS.
