Rwanda Becomes First African Country to Launch a Dedicated National AI Agency

Rwanda's Cabinet, chaired by President Paul Kagame, has approved the creation of a National Artificial Intelligence Agency, making Rwanda the first African country with a standalone institution dedicated to AI rather than a unit inside a broader ministry.
